Interplay of pairing correlation and Coulomb correlation in Boson exchange superconductors

چکیده

A theoretical methodology for exploring the conventional Bardeen–Cooper–Schrieffer (BCS) pairing instability superconductivity from a correlated normal phase all possible degrees of many-body correlation has been developed. The Gutzwiller projection scheme with parameter was made use in generating BCS state. variational thereafter implemented, leading to self-consistent equation superconducting gap function. This shows explicit dependence function on many body parameter. ‘pairing-gap’ and corresponding zero limit, becomes identical nature those pure (1-well) formalism, as expected Coulomb affects significantly strength correlation. detailed consequences are being presented here.

Correlation between characteristic energies in non–s-wave pairing superconductors

By solution of the Bethe-Goldstone equation for the Cooper pairing problem, an approximate analytic relation is derived between coherence length ξ and the binding energy of the Cooper pair. This relation is then qualitatively confirmed by numerically solving the corresponding self-consistent gap equations, following the crossover from weak to strong coupling, in non–s-wave superconductors. The ...

Organic Superconductors: Reduced Dimensionality and Correlation Effects

In this tutorial we will tackle the problem of electronic correlations in quasi-one-dimensional organic superconductors. We will go through different pieces of experimental evidence showing the range of applicability of the Fermi and Luttinger liquid descriptions of the normal phase of the Bechgaard salts series and their sulfur analogs.

Exchange and correlation effect on spin Coulomb drag in a quasi-two-dimensional electron system

We investigate the effect of many-body electronic correlations on spin Coulomb drag (SCD) beyond the random phase approximation (RPA). We make use of the fully spin-resolved static and dynamical many-body local field factors of the two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG) to improve the calculations of the particle-hole and plasmon-mediated contributions to the SCD. Also, we incorporate in our calcu...

Correlation energies of simple bounded Coulomb lattices.

The lattice structure of bounded Coulomb systems is explored using a simple zero-temperature slab model. For slabs above a certain size in6nite-volume behavior (i.e., a bcc lattice) occurs. Below this size surface e6'ects dominate and the lattice type depends on the size, usually taking on an fcclike symmetry. This state is similar to the lattice observed in recent computer simulations. These r...
